Hi!
I would sugggest you to read more about the using of the LoRa (LongRange) modules with Arduino. If you need some long range link to send the telemetry data, you better use Semtech LoRa devices for the RF link part. Also it is probably better to use 433MHz band as it provides more range and is free for use in the most countries.
Here are some links for you to read:
https://docs.arduino.cc/learn/communication/lorawan-101
https://how2electronics.com/interfacing-sx1278-lora-module-with-arduino/
https://www.electronics-lab.com/project/introduction-lora-send-data-two-arduino-using-lora/
I’m struggling to understand the communication protocol between the RC Transmitter and the Telemetry Transmitter. My hypothesis is that it is PPM. Is that true?
Here the post mentions also UART. Does that refer also to the communication between the RC Transmitter and the telemetry transmitter?
I would appreciate a lot your help and advices!
Thanks in advance.
Flysky FRM302 TX module can be used on any radio with JR bay and running OpenTX/EdgeTX firmware. There is also possibility to use Flysky FRM302 with any other radio as it supports PPM signal input, but you lose some features in this case.
