XR600 series receiver is a newly designed receiver by Oversky. It has small size (10*17mm), small weight (0.6 gram) but has LNA (LowNoiseAmplifier) so should have longer range control distance compared with other sub gramm receivers on market. Supports online firmware updating (not sure how ?), supports SBUS and F.PORT output at the same time (really ?). So the specs are promising, but someone should test it to verify these statements.
Oversky has whole line of the XR600 series receivers for Flysky, DSM, Futaba and Frsky. The XR602T-B2 receiver works with D8 protocol and XR602T-B3 receiver works with D16 protocol.

Integrated Frsky receivers
In this group you can find the list of “all” the receivers that are integrated into flight controller board. First generation integrated receivers were simply standalone receivers, connected the the flight controllers UART port and working via SBUS protocol. The next generation of integrated receivers work directly with flight controller via SPI port and all the communication protocol has been managed by main MCU. SPI interface is fast, flight controllers firmware gets the channels values directl, thus this receiver type is the fastest and has lowest lattency from all the receivers. This feature has BetaFlight and iNav firmwares only (up to date).
Skystars F4 AIO with integrated FrSky receiver

Pretty ordinary F4 flight controller in Whoop size format. Supports 1S-2S batteries, 5A ESC’s and MPU-6000 gyro. It has integrated FrSky receiver working in SPI mode. The most interesting fact is that this F4 AIO board has CC2500 receiver chip with SE2431L PA/LNA amplifier chip. This should enable to get the increased receiving range. Unfortunately Skystars decided to solder unefficient simple enameled copper wire as antenna. I quess the range could be increased if normal antenna is used instead.
Built-in Frsky Receiver
– Built-in Frsky receiver is compatible with Taranis, Taranis Plus, X9E, Horus X12S, XJT Modules.
(Pay attention, this is a SPI connection receiver. )
– In Betaflight Configuration, it should be setted as FRSKY_D receiver (aka Frsky D8 mode)
or FRSKY_X receiver (aka Frsky D16 mode) in SPI RX mode.
– The Frsky D16 unstable connection issue is totally resolved since Betaflight 3.4.1.
Nowadays, the default configuration from factory is Frsky D16 mode (FRSKY_X).

Would someone please tell me how PDB and the Flight Controller are wired into these little receivers????
It depends on which FC your tying to connect too but generally you just connect 5v and ground then if sbus connect to a uart selecting serial rx in ports tab. Some have a mini connector on rx so can just solder wire direct to fc or add a connector so can be removed easy, others either have solder pads or pin holes.
These are connected to your Flight Controller using either PWM (separate line for each channel) or PPM/SBUS(single line for all channels) to the dedicated pin depending on what flight controller and receiver you have. Other than this you just have to power them up with usually 5V.
To be complete, you may want to mention the crazybee, BetaFPV, and other SPX boards… ??

Hi, hoping you can help. I bought two of the “Frsky 8CH PPM SBUS Receiver Compatible Frsky Receiver” mentioned above quite some time ago, and I would now like to use them. However I can’t find any information about how to hook up the output pins. There are two rows of four, so not obvious (to me anyway). The link to Banggood no longer works and I have not been able to find it (or anything like it) on Banggood. Can you point me to some documentation?
