Holybro Atlatl HV – stackable VTX
Holybro releases their remotely controlled, stackable VTX. It designed to be mounted on the top of the stack. Supports 2-6S LiPo battery input. Outputs 15 mW (pit mode), 25 , 100, 200, 400 and 600 mW. Changing of the channel, transmitting power can be made from Betaflight OSD, flight controller USB port and Taranis LUA script. Antenna is connected via MMCX connector to SMA pigtail. This VTX has microphone installed on board, so you will always will have audio feedback from your quad no matter what camera are you using.

If you are using it with a Betaflight Flight Controller buit-in Betaflight OSD, you can manage the Atlatl’s transmit power and Channel from within OSD.

The Atlatl is intended to be configured via Telemetry. If you can not use Telemetry, you can change Channels by using the Button buit-on the surface of VTX.
The button is intended only as a fallback option for when Telemetry is not avaliable. It would be very tedious to use the button as the primary means of configuring the Atlatl.
2.Then Press the button one time to change to the next channel. There is no separate ” Band” and ” Channel” function. The Atlatl will simply step through all 40 Channels that it support.
1. You can use the Betaflight OSD. In the VTX control section of the OSD ( Look at manual). There is an option, ” Pit”, which can be on or off. Manually change this option to put it into and take it out of, pit mode.
2. Or you also can hold down the Atlatl’s buttom while you plug in battery. This will make Atlatl to power up in Pit Mode. Just be remember to take it out of pit mode before flying, if not, you will lose sign.

15mW is not pit mode. Pit mode is 1mW
With 15mW you can still blow someone out of the air when he’s half way down the field
Thanks for pointing that out. You are right, 15mW pit mode is a joke. Probably mistyped specs.
Wrote a letter to Holybro and got an answer:
“…We do believe that the 15mw pit mode is too much too. We will make it 0.5mw in the future.”
So in the future iterations this VTX will have proper PIT mode with 0.5mW power output.
