If the Runcam 5 fits in the dive housing of the SESSION and all of the Session holders in the world …its over for GoPro, partly because DJI jumped on the other half of the gorilla. For 100 bucks its a bargain in its segment, especially when you put an ND filter on it. I am going to buy one as soon as its preorder.

They apparently disabled 4k/50
So only 4k/30 now. But still, at this price point…As long as the footage isn’t terrible.
I’m looking forward to purchasing one.

Apparently there is already a ‘configurator’…a GUI for the settings and then just upload the file. For what it’s offering and at the price and weight, it’s better than anything on the market right now. For $100 I’m sold. At least there’s a company out there willing to cater to our amazing hobby.

In reply to Vaas. That is a good idea. Just like the TBS UNIFY EVO. There are rumors that RunCam is preparing some alternative way of setting the camera. Without any INI file. Probably they will use exactly this method.
